The Way She Shepherds
Breakout Sessions
How do you balance the approach of reaching non-believers while also nurturing believers without seeming “seeker sensitive” or “frozen chosen?” The key is to consider your specific cultural context and integrate Biblical truth into genuine needs. Let’s explore how to create a church culture where it’s natural for non-believers to encounter Jesus, reflected in your preaching, prayer meetings, and ministry focus.

In this session, participants will receive a clear reminder of each church’s obligation to fulfill the Great Commission, along with new ideas for effective responses. Strategies involving ministry to and through persecuted Christians will be examined. Additionally, tools for Missions Teams will be introduced to evaluate current mission support, craft future strategies, and identify mission opportunities within the church.
Phil Stevenson
Missions Fresh Strategies and Tools to Fulfill the Great Commission
The Pacific Northwest is facing high rates of loneliness, isolation, and depression. While many don’t openly admit it, almost everyone desires a deeper sense of community. At the same time, fewer non-Christians are accepting invitations to church events. Could churches find a way to combat both the loneliness crisis and evangelism challenges? Developing smaller, organic community groups within the church could offer a solution to address both problems effectively.
Joseph Rahm
Exploring the Relationship Between Intimacy and Authenticity in Community and Evangelism
This presentation explores the 4 Pockets of Giving. We serve a generous God, and we are called to model that generosity as His children. Our posture is that “God owns it all,” and we are His stewards, but only for a time. This session is partly instructional, partly inspirational, but entirely about obedience. Come expecting the Spirit of God to illuminate and challenge you to respond to the conviction that arises from complete obedience.
Kent Adcock
Creating a Culture of Generosity
Converge NW exists to help people meet, know, and follow Jesus. We do that by starting and strengthening churches and sending workers out to a hurting world. Our goal is for every person to feel loved, valued, and heard. We want every church, every church leader, and every person serving the local church to be connected to the resources and relationships that help them live with purpose and passion. Join Kevin in this breakout session as he examines what it means to be better together. This session will provide you with an opportunity to learn about resources available through Converge NW and offer a chance for you to share your concerns with the district regarding matters happening in your church.

Better Together: Resources and Relationships that Help Churches Thrives
What if salvation wasn’t rare but expected? What if your church became a place where the lost regularly encountered Jesus and believers were consistently challenged to grow in bolder, deeper faith? In this breakout, Pastor Ian O’Meara explores what it means to be a conversion community: a church where gospel engagement feels real, salvation is common, and discipleship runs deep. This session will provide practical strategies to foster a culture that reaches the lost without watering down the call to follow Jesus. If you’re ready to see more people find Jesus and other believers grow stronger, this session is for you.
