With Converge Northwest, you’ll get a personal church planter assessment, personalized coaching, help from a cohort of other church planters, relevant resources, practical training, a potential church planting residency option, and tested strategies that work in your community and people group to which God is leading you. You’ll also be able to implement proven church planting systems that will help you increase the long-term success of your church plant. More importantly, you’ll be part of a family with other church planters and ministry partners to help sustain and support you, enthusiastic partners who want to help you succeed in your mission of multiplying disciples and starting new churches. We encourage parent and partner church plant advisory teams for our church plants. We are better together.
With you every step
Proven Pathway
We provide a clear pathway for you to plant a new church. Each step has been strategically designed to improve your success so more people will have the opportunity to accept Jesus.
Pre-launch
After some conversations together and if you and the Converge Northwest church planting leadership agree that you might be a good potential fit with us, you will be invited to take the next step by completing an application and attending a one-day OnRamp assessment experience for ministry. If you successfully complete our OnRamp experience, you and your spouse may then be invited to one of Converge’s trusted four-day Church Planter Assessment Centers (CPAC) where you and other couples will undergo an intensive team evaluation of your marriage, calling, gifts, leadership ability and capacity, and qualifications for church planting. You will then be given a written report of your assessment results. Converge Northwest will then review your results and share with you our partnership details. We will then use training and coaching to help you with building a support team, a launch team, completing the legal requirements for establishing a new church and developing your first leadership team. We can even help you with the creative aspects of your church plant including naming, branding, logo development, and getting your website and social media up and running.
Launch
The support doesn’t end just because you’re ready to launch your church. Now the real fun begins. When it’s time to launch, we stand with you to support you and your team. We want to make sure you’re ready to launch successfully.
Post-Launch
Throughout your journey you’ll continue to receive coaching, training, church planting resources and the opportunity to connect with other leaders in Converge. When your church plant is ready to plant a new church, we’ll walk alongside you throughout the process. We can help you with:
- Learning how to raise up leaders within your church
- Planning for capital campaigns and expansion
- Keeping you and your church healthy as you fulfill God’s calling in your ministry
